Victorian sea healing hospital / site of former rent offices

Hello,

Im looking for some information on what was here on this site before the rent office? There is a link attched below:

I am researching Victorian lifestyle and the notion of healing by the sea and I understand that on this site before, people were sent from Glasgow to come and be healed by the sea air in a kind of hospital here. Does anyone have any more information of photographs? Or know of any mentions in a book? It would be greatly appreciated!

Mission Coast Hospital. Hope you enjoy Susans report on it.I see from your map that it maybe a different Hospital,but as far as I know the invalids from Glasgow were sent to the Mission coast Hospital.
