The town of Saltcoats is within both parishes so you'll find it mentioned in both.

These accounts are a very interesting read, lots of information there about Ardrossan of old. One of the articles that surprised me was, that in ancient times the "Cannon Hill" had been an island.
Good stuff, great history lesson.
