Sorry to hear of the death of our former neighbour, Mrs Netta Seabury, of the Stanley Hotel. Condolences to our member Shirley for the loss of her mother, and to the rest of the family, especially her father.

So sad to see Ruth Osborne (Holburn)n former Schoolfriend from Stevenston Junior Sec / Stevenston High School . Condolences to her Husband & Family,quite a shock and so sad.

I also would like to send my condolences to Ruth Osbourne's family at this sad time. Ruth was a friend of mine when we were wee and both lived in Misk Knowes.

I was very sorry to read of Ruth's death she was a lovely lassie always cheery.We have lost a lot of our classmates.Christine Frew,Bobby Grayston, Gus Fraser, Ann Williams, Betty Steele, that's the ones i know about there could be others.The Grim Reaper has us all in his sights. Best not to dwell on it.

I was quite shocked to see Billy Catt's entry (April 2013) reporting the loss of class mates. I wondered whether anyone had any more information about Ann Williams passing. I lost touch with her in the 1970's. I believe she married but I don't know any further. Given that Billy's entry was almost 4 years ago now, there were quite a few who died young.
