Remember it well!! Just finished sitting O levels (Lowers??) at St.Micks.Spent a week in July in Liverpool with Tommy McAteer (R.I.P.).Every night at the Cavern,saw some great groups (not the Beatles!!),The Big Three,Farons(?) Flamingoes,Rory Storm and the Hurricanes.etc.etc.Came home with a leather waistcoat and bell bottom jeans much to the consternation and amusement of the residents of Stevenston. Many more memories of a great summer with a sadly missed pal!!

Had a day out in Liverpool today and visited the Beatles Exhibition.
Brought back lots of memories of the early 60s amd is well worth a visit.
The recreation of the Cavern nightclub is excellent and brings back memories of sweaty dance halls and groups playing "beat" music.
