RNLI fundraisers early 1970s
The lifeboat service has always been a popular charity locally, and here are a couple of pictures of fund-raising events. This first one is of a coffee morning held at Landsborough Trinity church hall in August 1971. Apologies for its being of rather poor quality, it was a bit too damaged for me to successfully disguise it all.
I'd forgotten that this picture featured one of our Threetowners members: Shirley Seabury ( shirlb ) is the young girl at left holding the jug.
