Is that Thomas Stirrat Blackwood 1869 grandparents Thomas Stirrat 1808 and Isabella Scott 1816. Have him married to a Mary ? c1872 Ardrossan ,then Jessie McCracken.Goes back to Robert Scott c1717 in Stanley and Janet Wright c1717 in Ardrossan.Hughie wrote:Thanks, Del. Yes that's the one. Hughie, Been a while since we communicated on this, am I right in thinking that Jessie Boyce was your grandfathers sister ? I still have not got any further with finding out what happenred to Samuel Clarke, he was Jessie's husbands father, she had siblings Robert, Bella ?? and John......Regards Del.

If we accept that the Jenny listed below, adopted the name Jessie (after her mother) then she was indeed my grandfather Robert Boyce's sister. Haven't done any research for many years now, so can't add to that.
