Is this a street?

In the 1819 and 1822 Landsborough Lists there is a reference to "The Pund" in Stevenston. Is this a street or community?

Hi BigBob, I think there was a street in Stevenston called the Pund Brae.
It was where cows and sheep and pigs that had escaped from the back doors got impounded,and you had to pay to get them back,Regards Sam.
