Following extracted from "Happy Haggis" website. Hopefully, they will prove useful.

DEATHS:
Glasgow Herald, 12th April 1850.
At Rio Janeiro, from yellow fever, on the 18th February, Captain Thomas Robertson, of the brig Warrior, of Ardrossan, also same day and place, Mrs Robertson, his wife.

Glasgow Herald, 19th April 1850.
At Longford, by Kilwinning, on the 16th(?) instant, James McJannet, aged ten years.

MARRIAGES:
Glasgow Herald, 26th April 1850.
At Glasgow Street, Ardrossan, on the 23d instant, William Robertson Esq., engineer, to Martha, third daughter of William McCreadie Esq., of her Majesty’s Customs, Ardrossan.
