Her older sister Agnes and her man used to live next door to me many years ago in Forde Crescent but I only found out about their family connection's with yourself today .. it's a small world right enough.

Stevenston beach got a wee mention on radio 2s breakfast show this morning in an interview with Chris packham about his bioblitz project. Apparently he was in Stevenston yesterday, maybe Iain had something to do with this?

After the prolonged spell of (too) hot weather here in the three toon's the heaven's have well and truly opened and we've finally got some guid auld fashioned Thunner' n Lightnin' that'll hopefully clear the air a bit.

Whilst in the Lidle supermarket in Stevenston earlier I noticed that they had some frozen 'Kangaroo Leg Steaks' on sale - while stocks last - at £3.99 for 300 grams. It stated on the pack 'Produced in Germany' - which is where Lidle's originate from - and also 'Imported from Australia'.
I'm wondering not just what Roo tastes like, but also how the price here compares to what the norm for it is in Oz.
