:Sorry for going on a bit but with Dad gone I'm on my own most of the time & the irregular activity of my Colostomy makes me apprehensive about venturing out especially to the Burns Club (Rabbie our national bard) & our local Ostomy Society so I've no-one to talk to unless visiting my cousin who lives locally. Managed to buy a new Honda HR-V last year which is a pleasure to drive & one of few pluses to counteract my health issues.

No need to apologise Bob. We are listening so feel free to keep us up to date. You have had and are having a tough time. How do you spend your days? You say you enjoy driving: do you have a camera? could you post images of the region where you live? New Zealand has great views.

Read recently that Scots entrepreneur/businessman and philanthropist, Sir Tom Hunter, has purchased a property in the Holywood Ca. area for a reported £30million.
Which immediately had me thinking about his long time wife, Lady Marion Hunter - a wee Stevenston lassie who was brought up in Hamilton Crescent in the Hayocks area of the town.

I believe Sir Tom initially began his business ventures by selling Training Shoes from out the back of a van. Think the couples main residence is still situated in Monkton, Ayrshire.

Mum got taken into hospital.

Got the news today she may not survive. So soon after dad, I am just in shock. The horrid thought of going back through the funeral process and paperwork AGAIN.
