Reading through the cruising forums. Someone asked what was the best cure for seasickness. There were various answers mostly about ginger, pharmaceuticals and even wrist bands. The one that made me smile was. 'Sit under a tree.'

Why would you want to do that? As Meg said we don't care about the spelling. I'm a lousy speller even got the belt at school for bad spelling. Anyone can make a mistake but really to be pull someone up up for a spelling mistake that anyone could make isn't fair.

Apart from a few sunny days (gie few) the summer was a complete washout. Now the trend continues with a dry day followed by a wet one and now a gale is on its way. No wonder folk get down in the dumps. I know some folk will say we're luckier than those poor sods in Cuba and Florida but it still gets to you.

Vivc, I think 'Kerfuffle' is quite a seldom used word nowadays and so has become a very easy one to misspell. In fact, it was only when I saw it used by yourself and then did a search to find out what the exact definition of it was that I noticed the correct spelling myself and If I hadn't then we'd probably all have been none the wiser. I wasn't trying to have a go at yourself there, far from it.
