Even though I had no idea what it was, I have to disagree that it's the eraser. Surely it's the joiner from the pencil to the "rubber". Picky Picky, I know.

Hi Jean,
The picture puzzle topic had been lying dormant for a fortnight. I bumped it yesterday to get it going again. JD got the right end of the pencil.
Not as big a gaff as I had with the coffee maker in an earlier post.
