Fanny Waters Music

Post by Meg »

Three questions on tonight’s university challenge were all Miss Waters - (a legendary music teacher at Eglinton/Winton schools) pieces of music - Men of Harlech, The British Grenadiers and Trumpet Voluntary. The Trumpet Voluntary was a successful entry for the Eglinton percussion band at the Ayrshire Festival, and the other two were belted out on a regular basis in her music room lessons. I still find myself singing a remix of her lessons usually when in the car and on my own
