Nice photo , glenshena. I used to see a lot of them when i visited Dawlish in Devon.
Did not know Black swans originate from Australia until i googled today.

Just down the road from us here on the Australian coast there are plenty of Black Swans but no white ones here that I can recall. Took this the other week.
BTW ten years ago there was a black swan topic on here that might interest. And a photo of one in flight which I've never seen before - looks spectacular. The topic has the same name as this: https://www.threetowners.net/forum/view ... 412#p70412

In the early 80's Im sure when I was in London there were black swans in St James Park. Are they still there? Maybe this one flew from there.
Never knew til then that there was such a bird as black swans far less that they were Australian.
