THE NEW VERB “TELEVISED”
A full stop was “televised” by means of light and various apparatus before a large audience at the Royal Photographic Society, London, and last night.
Doctor Thorn Baker, who was lecturing on television, said:
“We have to get used to this new verb 'televised' because in the near future I am sure it is going to be used a good deal."
He wasn't wrong!

I have been thinking the same when watching the winter Olympics when according to the commentator an athlete has medalled
