Minimal pricing on alcohol

Post by 5siamese7 »

If this legislation gets through it means that my low flyer will retail at a minimum price of £14 (50p/unit) To-day this whisky was on sale for £11 in a Stevenston supermarket and guess what the shelf was cleared. Not by me I might add. A lot of spirits were on sale to-day with big discounts I'm thinking there may be a large quantity of spirits that needs shifting before the minimum pricing mucks things up. Talk about big brother your only supposed to drink 14 units a week maximum what a joke every pub in Scotland would have to close its doors if folk adhered to that. I do believe in being in control of your drinking and most of us are. We are being penalised because we like a drink and its not fair. :(
