USA Gun Laws - Stupidity

I digressed into talking about shotguns because I am amazed that there are more shotgun certificate issued in Scotland than ever.

Maybe it should be a federal offence to quote any Amendment except in full; I never met anybody who used the 2A in its entirety.
It occurs to me that a powerful minority of people are quoting selectively from an ancient but deeply revered text, written for a long-ago struggle, to justify arming themselves today.

You get use to having guns its just a part of your life that you take for granted. I think though automatic weapons need to be severely controlled.
