Sad to see Neil Innes has died,he was one of the members of the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah band, who were on Do Not Adjust Your Set,on tea time television.I used to buy all their albums, unfortunately the wife didn’t share my enthusiasm.

Looking forward to the Spring, and listening to the Peruvians when they are busking in my town.

Beautiful. Used to sit and watch a Peruvian group at Melbourne's big Sunday market - sounds great.
Re: Your favourite music on Youtube etc...
I've heard it done a good few times by a Peruvian (pipe)band,
they performed next to Donald Dewar or in the bottom bit of Buchanan Street
Tell you what , on a cold winter's day with still air, it really echoes in Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall Street and has a marvelous effect
If you fancy a sing along
Simon & Garfunkel's lyrics to
El Condor Pasa (If I Could)
I'd rather be a sparrow than a snail
Yes I would, if I could, I surely would
I'd rather be a hammer than a nail
Yes I would, if I only could, I surely would
Away, I'd rather sail away
Like a swan that's here and gone
A man gets tied up to the ground
He gives the world its saddest sound
Its saddest sound
I'd rather be a forest than a street
Yes I would, if I could, I surely would
I'd rather feel the earth beneath my feet
Yes I would, if I only could, I surely would

Jerry Lee Lewis was considered a bit over the top when he first hit the charts - enjoyed his music. Little Richard was another performer who blew us away when he started up - a couple of trend setters right there.
