Watched the whole concert from Liverpool, some great songs there and great guitar playing:-

Happy 80th Birthday Tina Turner! One of my very favourite singers, especially as most of her biggest hits were penned by Graham Lyle from Largs, formerly of the Tulsans and Bluefrettes local bands. They used to have practice sessions above the Castelwirock in Saltcoats in the 60's. He was in my brothers class at the Ardrossan Academy and always went to the Melbourne Cafe for lunch.

Good post- glenshena. I would never have known the Scottish connection regarding her hits .

Love this bluesy one by Elvis.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching two hours of his life story on Saturday and looked forward to the third hour at Hyde Park but after the first three songs which I did not know I switched off. His voice is quite weak too now, not really up to concert standard. Perhaps consequence of his thyroid operation. The three chorus girls made me shiver looking at them so scantily dressed on stage. However I shall look out for his autobiography.

Liam Ward has a tutorial on how to play a part of that tune.
Too busy at present to attempt it, and it aint easy. First time I've heard it, can't recall the TV show.
