A wee jaunt to Seamill this afternoon. Left castlpark through ravenspark, dubbs rd the quarry and along the coast to Seamill. Came back the same way. 25 miles.
It was a cracking afternoon there was even a wee bit of heat in the sun.

This morning was Saltcoats-Kilwinning-Torranyard-Cunninghamhead-Kilmaurs-Knockentiber-Springside-Dreghorn-Drybridge-Dundonald.

Stopped at the castle visitor centre for a cup of coffee, then home via Dreghorn, Bourtreehill, Irvine and Dubbs Rd. The clock was showing 49.5km when I reached the end of my road, so a spin round the block to make it 50.

I meant for Bruce !!

I went walking in countryside on Friday. Had to come back after an hour. Spring has not yet sprung.

A cycle to Prestwick this morning. I followed the cycle path all the way to Bruce's well in Prestwick. Then back through the town and picked up the path again and went back the same way. 34 miles worth of rubber off the tyres.

Got out for 90 minutes this morning. Headed to ravenspark onto the dubbs rd through the quarry then down to the station and along George Street.

A wee picture from the Stevenson end of the prom.
Saltcoats harbour, South Beach and along to the end of North crescent road.
Turned back there and went straight along to Kilwinning and followed the main road back to Irvine. 18 miles.

A good photo Bonzo but it illustrates perhaps a time gone by when there were lovely wee beaches there where the sand was retained by groins now totally useless just stakes in the sand.

Out this morning through ravenspark golf course and onto ncr 73 which I followed to Kilmarnock. By the time I got to the western rd it was snowing quite heavily.
I was planning to turn back at this point anyway, it was great cycling back in the snow, really peaceful.
Once I got to Irvine I came off the cycle path onto the broomlands bus route, down mill rd into the town and up the road. 20 miles.
