I thought this only happened in Scotland (!!)
My neighbour has random episodes of playing the radio very LOUD. So annoying.
I think you can get noise reducing earphones from Amazon. Need to look into this...

I live in a biggish house, don't need it now it's just me and my daughter, so I could move to the living room but I'm more comfy in my, usually, quiet bedroom, unfortunately backs on to the neighbours homes!lol! Maybe the predicted colder weather and rain tomorrow (yeah!) will bring peace andquiet. Don't REALLY mind, justa bit annoying is that the voices in my head or am I really hearing something?) lol

Today I heard Paul McCartney singing "Mull of Kintyre". I got a lump in my throat when the pipe band started up. Always get emotional when I hear a pipe band. Wonder if they gave up the farm on Kintyre after Linda died.
Its auffie sad that Jeannie and her dochter didnae hae lang lives, marvellous to listen tae them singin without accompaniment except sometimes fae a greetin wean or a dug barkin.
Just heard Roy Orbison on radio 2 singing Crying. A golden oldie. Before that John Lennon singing I heard the news today oh Boy. Radio 2 seems to play mostly 'blasts from the past' which I love - I couldn sit in the car all day and listen to them. But I tore myself away to have a deliicious Baked potato at Cavanis with cheddar and coleslaw. First class. The cappuccino was first class too . Then I did the usual thing and stocked up at the Kandy Bar before my departure tomorrow.
I watched them arrive from a distance in the dark. Always curious that they circle around in streets further up from where I feed them. Why would they not circle the set food area.

Morag may I just say how much pleasure it gave me to watch the Roy Orbison/JDLang video on you tube, Crying, I had shivers going through me when jd Lang hit the high notes. Roy Orbison never sings a note wrong. A real Christmas treat, a song that will never lose its appeal to me. Thanks again.
