Hi John, yes I got it, but been in the hospital since Monday getting a new hip so could do anything until now. Can i just say(and its way off topic) how fantastic my stay in ayr hospital was. We moan and groan about our health service but I have been treated like a VIP, nothing was too much trouble, the cleaners had the place spotless and the food was great. The nursing staff were just wonderful.. Super, positive experience.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Meg. Hope George is continuing the cleaning and cooking so that being home is as good an experience.

Very best wishes for your recovery, Meg, and by summer you'll hopefully be springing about like a two-year-old again on your new hip. :)

Beat me too it, Poppy.
Have a quick recovery, Meg. Time to plan your Spring planting. :)
In the meantime I'll split these good wishes to a topic on their own.

Thanks everyone for the kind wishes. Also Hughie, thanks for splitting the topic ~ I didn't think it would get this number of replies. Anyway, I am fine, confined to crutches for 6 weeks and then sticks for a further period, so poor george is chief cook and bottle washer.
