yes it probably will remain Hughie and be upgraded free of charge, but then all the other windows have remained and been upgraded free of charge, that is until they announce they will be withdrawing support, for them,i might be wrong but I think windows xp is no longer supported to mention but one. ...

i have also upgraded to windows10, but will probably revert back to my windows7, like most software to do with computers its (i think) all down to money, how much has been spent on operating systems since the very first windows, minute you bought the latest windows up they come with another windows,...

I was over at central hospital xray dept. they have donated books there if u take one you give a donation for cancer care I picked one up called gentle johhny ramensky I am in the process of reading it what a character he was there are some photos in the book there one of him sitting on the sea wall...

they sold everything, i used to go in there for fishing tackle, but they were well known for different brands of very expensive of whiskey when I say expensive it could be like £99 a bottle and a lot of times it could go into the hundreds

yes brian it is indeed a puffer, the programme I mentioned included it in its broadcast, and an old puffer captain was interviewed about his life on the puffers, and the whole interview was taken on board the one in Irvine really sad that they died out but that's progress for you,and also were they ...

great photo's Gordon,well done, I was up at the festival at bannochburn for the homecoming, witnessed the battle re-enactment had a good day with all the entertainment and history that was going on ,it was also armed forces day and there was a big event up at the castle and the raf display team flew...

my sis and her family stayed in middlepark before they emigrated to Canada in 74, I don't recognise anyone in the photo, but wonder is there a Hollywood there on right hand side of the photo, the son of jim and enis, who sadly have both passed away.
