I also took country dancing from Fanny Waters at Eglinton.
As well later on took country dancing from a Miss Glass in Stevenston
Can still do the pas de bas for maybe 20 seconds before exhaustion sets in

My Brother is married to Mary Mccallum from Saltcoats now living in Vancouver, B.C. who has two or three sisters Anna Reena and ? . Her father owned a coal delivery service - is this the same Mccallums?

I always liked the word scunner as in "A'm fair scunnered" or "wid yon yin no gie yi the scunner". I think these auld Scots words are so descriptive but hard to explain their real meaning to non-Scots.

Their seems to be some misunderstanding Hughie. The photos originated with George not with me. He had sent them to me and I sent him some of my father in the Home guard (camping up the country).
