You aren't Jane Gunn by any chance? I went to Ardrossan Academy in 1967 and left in 1971 - I was a member of Mrs Mcdougal's gaelic choir.

Inspector Rebus

Dont know if anyone saw the recent announcement that Ken Stott was taking over as Ian Rankin's Inspector Rebus. John Hannah looked far too young and fresh faced to play this auld, wise cynical cop. Really looking forward to watching it. Loved all the books.

Hi Catherine and Ellen Yes, the song was written by Paul Simon and he sang it on his solo tour a couple of years ago when we saw him in Edinburgh. Trinity Square, London

I have just been over to Trinity Square at Tower Hill (the garden of rememberance for merchant seamen who died during the war) and couldn't get photos as they are filming something there (again)!
