Well I read that there are real worries about antibiotics getting into the human population from their overuse in fish farms. We are told to eat fish two -three times a week especially oily fish and now it seems that the farmed fish which constitutes the bulk of the oily fish we access are so full of antibiotics that our immune systems are being compromised. Morag, they are awe pickles. I presume you mean the onions, if so thats ok. In the battle with my sisters, my first target was the gerkins followed by the cauliflower, pickled onions had to be from a chip shop. :)

Used to pick them in the fields by the river also on the golf course, haven't done this for years. Mind you I have to say, some of them were magic. :roll:

Wonder why a Christmas specialty? We had them weekly.. :( I enjoy sprouts and eat them all year round thanks to the supermarkets. I had mentioned in an earlier post that the museum area was warm, but as a further clue - a wall has 2 sides, inside and outside.
