Peterm,the guy thats singing who is named as Jim Slaven, is I think Joe Slaven,and he was the father of wee Jim Slaven from Saltcoats who sang with the Chase etc.

I think he had 2 sons,but not sure.

John or Jock as I knew him lived in Miller Rd,he drank in Ness's what is now the Victoria Bar in Raise St.when I was wee he worked on the railway,he played dominoes and liked a good drink.he was in the Saltcoats team that won the scotish cup.I used to have a photo of that team,but Jock was not in it...

thats been three occasions that I have had child toys to give away,I advertised them on an Ayrshire site,FREE ,come and take them.there has been no response although the toys were almost new.would not have happened in my day they would have been snapped up
