I'm cranky!

I know, wiz just being cheeky..as usual!

All my kids played soccer, as it's called here, they loved it. Football? I'm still confused..little foot action. I'm not much of a sport fan, but I do like fencing (took lessons as a teen), rugby, other stuff. Absolutely abhor anything that uses, hurts animals.

Not really a fan of brass bands but like a performance by a trumpeter in a Snow Patrol number, was great!

Hot and humid, no' a happy camper here! Got the ac running, think it needs a look at as all I'm getting is the noise, not the cooling. Egads, I'm getting to be a right cranky auld wumman..my kids would answer 'gettin' to be? ' My kids are gettin' to be old farts themselves and here's me still ninete...

Just been listening to Harry Chapin, didn't realise he died so young, 38.

I can't remember the date, late 60's, I qualified for the art prize but that year it was scrapped, lack of funding. Not that I gave a whit. Art was not deemed a 'real' subject like Maths, English, Science. I liked my schooldays there, most of the teachers were great.

Fond memories here. Was just telling one of my sons that after his dad and I got a wee bit peeved with each other, I said 'och, away and chase yerself' , He stopped what he was doing, stood tall, shooders back, hands on hips and said 'No, you go away and chase your own self!' I thought I'd die laugh...

Scotland has it's own jewels, 'c'mon get aff..lol!
