I remember sledging on Cannon Hill too but mainly in a particularly hot summer when the grass turned yellow like straw and all the weans took cardboard and slid down all the way to the swings. I remember going to Sunday school at the Park Church in Glasgow street. My three brothers and I walking down from Rowanside Terrace thinking we looked great in our kilts only to have cheeky weans calling us Kilty,Kilty cauld bums.
