I Think there was a small swingpark,at Craigspark.Bridge Park(Piggery Swings).a small what at Greenacres as well.
The ones at Elm park i remember them.Dont have dates when they were removed,but i am sure Greenacres ones
are still there.

Pt.your right, I know of 2 Danny Higgins,One was a painter to trade,i know he died ,the other worked in the docks? There was John and he was a neighbour(ASCOLL BUILDINGS) of mine.I dont think any relations,apart from the 2 who came into the Pub.I can still see them standing at the Bar but not to sur...

Mitchy,I was thinking along those lines as well I know Joe And Marie,very well.But i do remember 2 brothers who came into the Eglinton Hotel,Higgins were there name think the worked down the dock as well.
Joe was reared in Raise Street,and dont think he is related ither Mitchy.

I remember getting the knitting wool there,Eilen Howie ,worked there.Anne Craig,had in later years,a busy wee shop.Ardrossan folk might remember Anne worked on The A1 buses before that..

I am shocked to read your Post regarding the loony school.Part of my working life was spent as a carer looking after people in a Place the same as the James Reid School.I see you left in 55,i suggest you come and visit our James Reid School and see for your self the lovely people there ...

The Hanging Baskets were lovely at the War Memorial this year.Walked past today at the were getting taken down.
