From Enid Baxter's Scottish cookbook: 2 lb. oatmeal 1lb. shredded suet 2 onions salt and pepper pudding skins Soak skins in salted water, then rinse well in cold water. I didn't express myself well. My daughter's partner is O.K. The young soldier killed in Afghanistan was not in the band but loved pipe music and used to listen to the band practising. Margaret;

We were told not to swim at Sandilands because the sewage went out there and you could see the big pipe when the tide was out.This would be in the 40's. Margaret
