First motorbike was a Honda 250cc , you could only drive up to that engine size till passing your test , traded that in soon after to Nelsons for a Triumph 5TA Speedtwin which was a great bike , those of you who know bikes will know it was called a bathtub model because of the huge enclosed rear mud...

Fatastic photographs that has brought back great memories, I remember as a small boy going there with my mother and father to watch the curling , it inspired my mum to start curling , she played at the Ayr ice-rink for years after that , I will need to give it a go sometime myself .

"Dubbed" was one I heard the other day , a young lad in the queue in front of me said he was fighting with his brother early the day before and his father kept him "Dubbed up" in his bedroom all night as punishment
