If you read back to the original post you'll see that a MARY B. MURDOCH, (22), born 1887, sailed from Scotland in October, 1909, on the vessel GRAMPIAN, bound for Quebec City, and then onward to Tugaske, Saskatchewan, so, we reckon she succeeded in linking up with her family again.

I think there was one too at the putting green on the South Beach at Ardrossan. For those who are having difficulty imagining it, the squares were painted on the ground, the large wooden playing pieces had loops on the top, and the players had poles with hooks on the ends to connect with the pieces....
