I thoroughly enjoyed the whole event, next year I will get my packed lunch and sit on hill as it was fantastic to see ,made me soooo proud to be an Ardrossanite!! Was lovely to see kids and of course the adults walk through crowds in the costumes, was great and free, which made it pleasant for paren...

I was Mrs Byers 1st customer as I was only a wean I can't remember what I was in for but till the day she left she always told me this,she was a pleasant woman I liked her and Gracie's next door.

Hi Hugh, I was just about to reply when i seen my story about Ross dairies when i was lizal, I can still see the courtyard and the great big fridge that the milk was stored? Happy days I can even remember the route! I done it that long :D

I walk everywere and carry my pass incase the weather changes, but I am lucky to be able to do that, a lot can't so for them it's a great thing, mind you I have heard folk calling us the coffin dodgers!! And if they have worked all their lives why not?

I think it a good thing free bus passes it is getting folk out that would otherwise be at home, travel is expensive and it's good to see them out and about were otherwise they would be stuck at home because of costs.

i was always getting the belt, we had one teacher he kept his belt over his left shoulder (under his jacket) sore sore!! the weans nowadays don't ken what they missing (not) never done me any harm.
