Last night I watched an old edition of Coast on the Yesterday Channel. It was of particular interest as it covered from Arran to Gretna. Great section on Ailsa Craig and also Ardeer in which section John Dolan was interviewed.
Hard to beat the Clyde scenery and I felt a bit nostalgic.

Just heard yesterday that there is now a small wagon on South Beach platform selling teas and coffees to the commuters in the early mornings . That would have been good in my day !
