Hi Hughie Don't think it was in Stevenston. The area you have pencilled is where the burn went through and there was a little cottage but the rest were garden areas behind the houses right down to Boyd the Grocers and Donnellys paper shop opposite Reids fish and chippy. Could be wrong but no recolle...

Hi Marie It is more than likely she would be buried in the old cemetary in New St. at that sort of date. Hi Marie Cooredden St, now New St, got it's name because the cows were driven up that street to the market ay Stevenston Cross. I also had relations who stayed on Ann Hunters Land and I take it that was the person who owned the land on which the house was located. probably similar to the old Station...
