the first garage in Kilwinning..

Hi PT, I think you are referring to Rooney's Garage. Coming from Stevenston, you would turn left on to Claremont Crescent and the garage was on the Rt. I found the book and the photo is not of Rooney's garage as I thought, but is of the first garage in Kilwinning owned by Tom McCrorie. The book say'...

My grandfather Peter Rooney and Uncle Jimmy Rooney had a garage in Claremont Crescent....I have book of Kilwinning with a photo of my grandfather outside the old garage. Will post the photo when I find the book. Does anyone remember the garage?
