I ran about with the walsh's when I lived in Misk Knowes back in the 50's. They lived next to the lane leading to Ardoch Crescent.

Hughie I recall hearing about a chap from round about the stevenston area who used to swallow garden shears among other things. His second name was Black.Harry black rings a faint bell, but this was a long time ago.

Would the Robert Cook who wrote this post be the same one who Lived in Moriss Moodie Avenue in Stevenston, and went to Ardeer primary back in the 50's.
