Hello Kate, My mothers sister married Mr H Gilliland and they lived in Ardrossan. He was a popular man who boxed for Great Britain at the commonwealth games in either Oz or NY (not 100% sure) and his medal was on show at the old Ardeer rec club in Stevenston (long gone). There was a keyboard shop next to the post office opposite Rowes sports in Saltcoats (dont know if its still there)

There was also a good wee record shop in the 80`s in the arcade in Hamilton street which is now a bowling alley.

Hello everyone,

Has anyone noticed on the shore at Stevenston (past the slip further along in fornt of the factory in the direction of Irvine) what looks like a large picture of Rabbie Burns...

Am I alone in seeing this or can someone correct me or enlightin me as to what it may be....
