Puffer as he was known lived next door to my dads family 26 Winton Street It was the nearest house to the winton rovers main gate, he was a regular contributor to the Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald to us he was famous.to us then.

Hi all you from Ardrossan I spent many a long day on jerry's pier swimming and fishing, I seem to remember a small steam driven crane at the end of the pier or am I tottaly wrong ?

Hi Hughie RICKIE WAS a GOOD Wee footballer I remember my job on a sunday morning hail rain or snow the Cambell brothers doddy cambell and J.T tomulty I THINK THE Wornock brothers the Maginn clan Hughie Wullie and Sammy and any other straggles who we fit after the night before.
