Hello The people you are looking for are my fathers grandparents. He doesn't know anything about his family and I would be really interested to discuss the Boyle with you.

Duncan.

Photographs of local miners' rows seem hard to come by. In the meantime if you use DREGHORN as a key word in this site there is one photograph of the Montgomeryfield Pit in Dreghorn. The site may be of general interest to others who have family from a mining background:

Saltcoats/Dreghorn

by Duncan » Tue Jan 05, 2010 7:06 am

Hi, I am looking to connect with relatives of William Boyle and Mary Torrance of Dreghorn. Mary last lived on Dundonald st. William was a miner and once lived in the miners rows in Saltcoats. I am also interested in any pictures of the miners rows in Saltcoats and Dreghorn. Thank You.
